What We Do
Areas Development Line focus:
- SDGs localisation through consultation meetings and awareness raising sessions.
- Mobilizing stakeholders and key institutions on SDGs localisation through advocacy strategy.
- Collect and share SDGs developments in the country to the stakeholders and regional/international authorities.
- Coordinating and overseeing SDGs implementation in the country.
Platforms under Development Line
There are sub-platforms that works under Development line to promote SDGs in Somalia. Here is outlined below;
- World Largest Lesson Somalia- This is a yearly platform which introduces Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to the Somali children through awareness. It is one of the exciting initiatives that empowers students to become active global citizen, inspiring them to feel that they have an important role to play in shaping interconnected world.
- Safe schools Coalition in Somalia- is a platform committed to create safer learning environment and empowering educators and societies in Somalia.
